star self catering holiday cottage in the Wye Valley
Ciderpress Cottage is a beautifully refurbished barn conversion near to Penallt Village, 5 miles from the market town of Monmouth on the Wales / England borders. The cottage is also within easy reach of the Forest of Dean, Usk Valley, Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and many of the medieval Herefordshire villages.
Surrounding the cottage is gently sloping grassland and footpaths with stunning panoramic views of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Nearby is Pentwyn Farm Reserve, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) managed by The Gwent Wildlife Trust.
On sunny days the cottage patio is bathed in glorious evening light enabling guests to enjoy the natural sights and sounds of the Wye Valley. We can provide a barbeque for those magical summer nights, or you can simply curl up with a good book in front of the log fire in the evening.
Ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, Ciderpress Cottage sleeps up to 4 people and is available for self catering holidays in the Wye Valley all year round.
